Your Baby Can Read
The reading program designed to harness your baby's learning potential.
This reading program for toddlers promises that your baby can read by teaching the child at the most critical years of learning. Up to five years of age, a child's ability to learn is at it's peak and they absorb a lot of information and children learn rapidly.
The way the program works is that the child watches the DVD video. The word is displayed and pronounced. A visual image is displayed to represent the words meaning. For example, a photo of a dog might be shown for the word "dog". Then the child repeats back the word or demonstrates or points to it in some way.
The creator or the program, Dr Bob Titzer, claims that children are much more open to learning at the age before 5. He says that they can learn things like reading and foreign languages much better at this time. In fact, he says that waiting to learn to read until school starts is too late!
A five year old in the video below was featured on the Ellen Degeneres show after learning to read with the Your Baby Can Read program which he started using at 14 months old. He is a very good reader and has learn a lot of history as well.
Does the Your Baby Can Read program really work? It would seem so after watching some of these videos. Does the child memorize only or does the Your Baby Can Read program help them to develop comprehension too? Some might wonder if the program pushes kids too hard to learn before they are really ready.
If the Your Baby Can Read program really works as advertised on TV, it would be a huge advantage to your child. Have you tried the Your Baby Can Read program? If so, please add your review of this reading program to help other parents get an idea of the program benefits and what to expect from it before buying.

I sat my baby in front of these videos, did the flash cards and everything they recommend from the time she was 6 months old - we bought this at a home show 6 years ago from Dr Titzer himself. Anyway, she didn't read, however she is certainly smarter than most of the other kids in first grade and reads at a 2nd grade level. However, I don't believe it is as a result of the video. Who knows maybe I should of let my daughter watch even more tv.
