The As Seen On TVAqua Globes

, promise to water your plants- but not too much. In this Aqua Globes review video, the Aqua Globe clearly was better than regular watering by hand.

The Aqua Globes are supposed to provide your plant with up to two weeks worth of automatic watering.  The smaller 8 ounce Mini Aqua Globes for smaller plants also make this promise.

The hand blown glass Aqua Globes work on the basic premise that when the soil becomes too dry, oxygen gets into the bulb, forcing water to travel down the glass stem into the soil, just as the plant needs it.

The Aqua Globe instructions say to poke a hole in the soil before placing the stem into it.  They are fragile so this will help keep from breaking them.  Other tips, include watering before placing the Aqua Globe so that the water has a better chance of lasting the full two weeks.

Here is a funny animated video with Aqua Globes re-branded as the Food Globes

UGGG...what a pain

Ok, bought these, I try a lot of asseen products and well, more than half are like this. First, the whole process takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Yup. I have two large ones. Just for one, it takes at least five minutes to fill. You have to barely run the water and allow air to come out of it at the same time. Then I had to turn it 5 or 6 times to get more air out of it. When I first stuck it in the soil, it almost broke. I had to use a pencil and make the hole (in the directions, not the ad), then the water disappeared in a few hours. So I soaked the plant and did the same. Gone in about 4 or 5 hours. I guess you have to go and buy fresh soil for this. Big disappointment.

not worth it

I have the large ones and they really are not with the time. I also had major problems trying to fill them and if you don't make a hole in the dirt before you try and pit them in they get dirt stuck all through the tube which is nearly impossible to get out. And the water does disappear within a day.great idea just wish it really worked.
