This is the original full length Awesome Auger infomercial staring Billy Mays.

 

This reviewer claims that one can use the Awesome Auger to dig holes for a fence post. That most be a really small post!

The Awesome Auger seems like it actually might be good for planting a lot of small flowers in a bed but not for bigger jobs.  Dig a post hole with a post hole digger and till with a tiller. 

The Awesome Auger may also work well for putting weeds that are more like vines or tough grasses as well.

DO NOT order this product. I am a very savvy online shopper and don't easily fall for something too good to be true. Not only is this product a rip-off but they have set up their web site so that you can easily accidentally purchase more than one set of these drill bits. Thank goodness I didn't follow through and click the pop-up box for my order more than once as others did who complained about this issue to consumer groups on the internet. Those poor folks actually ended up with big charges on their credit cards and several sets of worthless drill bits. I, in fact, cancelled the order process at the end because I didn't believe that it was working and still ended up with a charge on my credit card and a box full of bits that I couldn't use. When I called customer service about this product, they were not helpful in anyway. That's when I went online and read all about the terrible experiences that people have had with this product and this company. Buyer beware!!
