H20 Steam Mop

The H20 mop promises really clean floors. Does this floor cleaning tool deliver?
Bookmark and Share

The H20 Mop steam cleaner claims to clean all types of floors in including both solid surfaces and carpeting.  The infomercial even mentions cleaning show floors and pet beds with it.  The H20 Mop is similar to the Shark Steam Mop.

The pitch is that the super heated water creates steam which sanitizes floors, thus killing germs.  They even have a doctor on the infomercial to support this claim.

Its triangular shaped mop head gets into tight places because of its 180 degree turning abilities.

This as seen on TV mop is supposed to save you a lot of money because you do not need to buy cleaning chemicals (unless you want) to get your floors clean.  Since they claim it removes the need to rent professional carpet cleaner, which they claim costs about $250, you would save that money too.

Flooring that the h2o mop works on is hardwood, tile, linoleum, vinyl, slate, laminate, and even rugs, carpets, and pet beds.

You can use the washable microfiber pad or buy the disposable pads.

I have the rectangular one. It is terrific! It does all and MORE than they say - get one and you will be shocked at how easy and fast it cleans and dries.

H20 Steam Mop

The H20 is the third steam mop I've owned and it did a good job, but had to buy an extra pad so I could change it to finish mopping my kitchen. The problem is that it is cheaply built and when my 4 year old Grand Daughter tried to pick it up at the steam head, she dropped it and it cracked. All but the others except the French one, which was all hard plastic and metal are all made of thin plastic. I've cracked the others, except for the Shark Pocket Steam Mop, and I wonder how long it will last. I recommend the Shark Pocket Steam Mop, since it has a wider steam pad and can be turned over, and a large water tank.
