Magic Bullet Blender

The Magic Bullet- Is it a blender, food processor, a juicer, or what?
Bookmark and Share

The Magic Bullet is a mixer, chopper, drink maker, juicer and practically does everything but cook your food for you.

The basic 17 piece kit comes with the basic blender base (aka high-torque power base) along with two different blades- flat or cross blades for either whipping or grating respectively.

The mildly cheesy sales pitch shows how you can save a lot of time (do everything in under 10 seconds) and make a lot of cool foods with the food processor and free recipe book included.  When you are all done, leftovers be stored in the special cups they were originally prepared in.  These cups come with tightly fitting storage lids or other types of lids for steaming in the microwave or for use as a shaker top on the cups.  They also offer additional cups in the deluxe 22 piece kit and you can even acquire a juicer attachment.

Doesnt work as it claims

I have tried to blend everything in it and the only thing good i can say is that it makes good frozen drinks thats it though. It claims to be able to grate cheese from a solid chunk and it doesnt have the ability. It doesnt chop well at all. Like I said its a good margarita maker!

works wonderful

I am sorry to say that, for me, this product was a total waste of money. It is cheaply made and broke in six months with little use. The part that broke was the part on the base that turns the blades. I then noticed it was made of PLASTIC not metal.

We had the same experience. The base became completely useless. And then the rest just sits in the cubboard because you can't use it on anything else. They should have had a seperate blade holder that could be replaced, but it's part of the base so once it's gone the fun is over.

No real problems after 5 years

I've had the Magic Bullet for about 4 years and only use it to make omelets so I'm not using it as hard as it claims to be designed for. The only problem I've had with it is one of the bottom rubber pads came off, but I replaced it with one for a cupboard door and it's fine (though not perfectly level). Housemates also had a Magic Bullet but theirs broke somehow (motor I think) and they gave me their acessories (blades and containers). You just can't keep the motor on for very long, like the infomercial and manual claim!
