Salsa Maker

The hand crank salsa maker is a great device for makeing pico de gallo style salsa.

This is one kitchen tool I cannot live without in the summer. I grow my own tomatoes and peppers then make some incredible pico de gallo salsa with a little lemon (or lime) juice, Celantro, salt, and those tomatoes and peppers.  They recommend roma tomatoes but I use all kinds.

 You want to be careful not to overload the Salsa Maker because it will be too hard to turn and make break the thin blades (I did).  Cut your onions and other things into small enough pieces first then enjoy that salsa.

I cannot live without it. In fact, I broke one of the blades, so I went and bought another one on ebay. Check the deals on the m listed to the right.

Love it, perfect for salsa and guacamole. I'm on my third one now in about 12 years.

The trick is not to overload it. Sometimes the crank is not tight enough, but great product otherwise.
